Terms and Conditions
Effective date: March 20, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of GFin, the mobile banking application of Gerab Financials Limited ("GFL", "we", "us", or "our").
By registering for, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility and Account Use
You may use the app only if you are authorized to use the relevant banking services and are legally permitted to enter into these terms.
You agree to:
- provide accurate and complete information
- keep your login credentials, password, PIN, device, and any biometric-enabled access secure
- use the app only for lawful purposes
- promptly notify GFL if you suspect unauthorized access, fraud, or misuse
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account or device unless otherwise determined by applicable law or GFL policy.
2. Services Available Through the App
The app may allow you to access banking and related services, including:
- login and account access
- customer onboarding and KYC-related flows
- profile and credential management
- account and balance viewing
- statements and transaction history
- transfers, bill payments, QR-based payments, loan-related features, and similar banking transactions
- deposit, withdrawal, notification, and support-related functions
Available features may change over time and may differ by account type, approval status, device, or operating environment.
3. Security and Authentication
To protect your account, the app may use passwords, PINs, OTPs, device verification, deep links, push notifications, and biometric-assisted login.
Biometric login is an optional convenience feature. If you enable it, you authorize the app to rely on device-supported biometric authentication together with locally stored app credentials or settings necessary to provide that feature.
You must not:
- share your credentials or verification codes with any other person
- attempt to bypass app security or access controls
- reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the app or connected systems
- use the app in any way that may harm GFL, other users, or connected services
4. Transaction Instructions
You are responsible for verifying transaction details before submitting any transfer, payment, recharge, or other instruction.
Once submitted, a transaction may be final, delayed, declined, reversed, or subject to review depending on:
- account status
- security checks
- network availability
- backend processing outcomes
- compliance or regulatory requirements
- operational limits and business rules
GFL does not guarantee uninterrupted real-time processing of every instruction.
5. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the app at any time for maintenance, security, operational, legal, or business reasons.
We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
6. Fees, Charges, and Third-Party Costs
Standard banking fees, service charges, telecom charges, internet charges, SMS charges, or other third-party costs may apply to your use of the app or underlying banking services.
You are responsible for any such charges unless expressly stated otherwise by GFL.
7. Privacy and Data Use
Your use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy. By using the app, you acknowledge that GFL may collect, use, store, and share information as described in the Privacy Policy and as required to provide banking services, maintain security, and comply with law.
8. Intellectual Property
The app, including its software, branding, interfaces, logos, content, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to GFL or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly allowed by law or by GFL in writing, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, publish, or create derivative works from the app.
9. Suspension or Termination
GFL may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the app without prior notice where reasonably necessary, including for:
- suspected fraud, misuse, or security threats
- breach of these Terms and Conditions
- legal or regulatory requirements
- inactive, closed, blocked, or restricted accounts
- technical or operational risk management
Termination or suspension of app access does not automatically close your banking relationship unless separately confirmed by GFL.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GFL disclaims warranties not expressly required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GFL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from or related to:
- your use or inability to use the app
- device failure, network failure, or service interruption
- unauthorized access caused by your failure to safeguard credentials or your device
- delays or failures caused by third-party systems, telecom providers, platform providers, or external events beyond GFL's reasonable control
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your misuse of the app, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable law, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be imposed on you.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan, unless another governing framework is required by applicable mandatory law.
Any dispute relating to the app or these terms will be handled through the competent courts or authorities of Bhutan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to These Terms
GFL may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms become effective when published in the app, on the website, or through other official communication channels.
Your continued use of the app after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
